Storm Siren Testing: The Clark County Dispatch Center will begin monthly storm siren testing on the first Wednesday of the month starting April 3rd and ending on October 2nd between the hours of 5pm-6pm. There will not be any tests if there are incoming storms or warnings that day. They will not be setting them off for the state wide tornado drill on Thursday April 11th.

Welcome to Village of Withee!

The Village of Withee was founded in 1870, and named after a school teacher from Maine, W.H. Withee and was incorporated as a village in 1901. The Soo Railroad brought in booming business to the area, developing into the principal shipping point for D.J. Spaulding Mills. Withee retains all its small town charm with a friendly population of 506 people.

Located just off the Black River, Withee offers many opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast. The avid fisherman will find the perfect spot to fish. The North Woods offers many opportunities for those who enjoy hunting. The Sportsman Club offers trap shooting as well as bow and arrow targets. For the active person, there is pickle ball, softball, biking, fishing, and snowmobiling.

Stop by one of the friendly taverns to unwind and engage in friendly conversation. Don't forget to stop at our local Mennonite stores for a real taste of country life. Withee is easily accessible from the four-lane Highway 29. Stop in and spend some time in Withee!

Where do I pay my property taxes?
The first installment whether be in full or only the first half is due to the municipal clerk in person at 511 Division Street or by mail at PO Box A, Withee WI 54498. The second installment is due to the Clark County Treasurer at 517 Court Street, Rm. 302, Neillsville WI 54456.
What day of the week is garbage and recycling picked up in the Village?
Every Friday is garbage and recycling collection unless it follows a holiday. Be sure to check out the calendar on the Garbage and Recycling tab. Have your items out the night before to ensure pickup the following morning.
How can I pay my monthly water/sewer/garbage bill?
Payments can be made:
  • online at ub-pay.com (muni ID# WitheeWI498)
  • placed in Village Clerk drop box on the east side of building facing Division Street
  • mailed to Village Clerk, PO Box A, Withee, WI  54498
