What day of the week is garbage and recycling picked up in the Village?

Notice 05-05-2026 : Weed Ordinance: Sec. 8-1-4 and 8-1-5 The premises shall be free of all noxious weeds. The premises shall not have a length of grass or weeds that exceeds 8” in height. If either of the sections is violated and notice has been given, the Village may choose to eliminate the weeds or grass and bill the amount to the owner.

Every Friday is garbage collection unless it follows a holiday. Every other Friday is recycling collection unless it follows a holiday. Be sure to check out the calendar on the Garbage and Recycling tab. Have your items out the night before to ensure pickup the following morning.
