New water rates were approved by the Public Service Commission on December 27, 2016.  These new rates will go into effect on March 6, 2017.  This allows the actual reading of March 5th to be billed at the current rate and then the next reading will be billed at the new rate.  The first billing with the new increase will be April 6, 2017.  The current rate is $4.01 per 1,000 gallons used and the rate will increase to $6.50 per 1,000 gallons.  The monthly meter charge will also increase from $12.62 to $21.00.  If you have any questions regarding the new rates, please contact the clerk at 715-229-4319.
